We had a lovely one-night stay in a charming Two-Bedroom Loft Suite. The decor was delightful, and the laid-back atmosphere made it feel like home. We appreciated the cozy lounge spaces and the delicious breakfast that brought guests together. Our only suggestion for improvement would be longer breakfast hours for those who check out early.

borland house inn was a lovely experience! the house was charming with a beautiful backyard. our room was super comfortable and eco-friendly products like solid shampoo were a nice touch. it’s also in a great location, so close to small fun shops and eateries. the hostess was accommodating even with our late check-in, making everything smooth for us.

The check-in process via email felt a bit impersonal, missing that warm welcome you’d expect. Breakfast options, limited to pancakes and waffles, seemed pre-made, lacking any protein to start the day right. The pillows on the bed were hard as rocks and felt ancient, which was a letdown for a good night's sleep. Windows faced a busy street, making it tricky to find privacy as the bathroom drapes didn’t close well. In addition, my TV didn’t work, and the air conditioning was just a fan that failed to cool the room down, leading to a restless night.

The backyard was very nice, we enjoyed the fresh air while sipping on some coffee together. I found that solid shampoo and conditioner really interesting, it's kinda eco-friendly which I appreciate a lot.
